Aventura Technologies, a leader in video surveillance systems, seeks an experienced Help Desk Technician.
Responsibilities:
-Provide technical support to customers on surveillance equipment.
-Build/Upgrade client and employee computers.
-Diagnose/Repair defective computers and surveillance equipment.
-Troubleshoot problems involving routers and firewalls.
-Assemble server racks with surveillance equipment.
-Test new software releases and features.
Requirements:
-Previous help desk support required. Use of call tracking software a PLUS.
-Must have the ability to assemble a computer.
-Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware required.
-Strong computer networking experience.
-Must be able to move/lift objects up to 50 lbs.
-Must work well independently and in a team setting.
-Excellent verbal/organizational skills a must.
-Cabling knowledge a PLUS, but not required.
-Experience with Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, and Exchange a PLUS, but not required.
-Knowledge of RAID configuration a PLUS, but not required.
Education:
-Associate/Bachelors degree a PLUS, but not required.
-Certifications a PLUS, but not required.
